During this beautiful and busy Summer Solstice weekend, I have recently found time to make a pop-up dance performance Sunday evening at that one and only 2nd Annual Madison Womyn's Music & Arts Festival. My performance will be between 4:30 & 5 (between Walkin' Shoes Jazz Combo and Cassidy Ann and her Expandable Band) but since I didn't know till recently that I was able to make the fest, ya won't see me on the schedule below. This year I plan for a an old Egyptian vibration followed by a bellydance that could easily be described as a serpent being charmed awake from hibernation (~!~). I very much enjoyed being part of this fest-for-a-good-cause (proceeds from sales go towards the Demeter Foundation, an organization which helps womyn get off to a new start after incarceration) last year at the High Noon Saloon where I performed "Sinuous and Staccato", a mask dance of opposing personalities and this year is going to be even better! Music, art, bellydance..(and beer). Stop by Evolution Arts Collective on your way to the solstice bonfire for fun :)

CALL FOR VIGILANCE, PLEASE READ THRU: I am posting a note concerning the fact that almost undoubtedly my small blue backpack purse (with button pins on the front) was stolen between the hours of 7pm and 8 on Tuesday evening and has yet to be heard of. My cell phone, around $40, multiple versions of identification cards, debit card, full ring of keys, a small box of my personal (bellydance and family photo) flash drives and multiple other personal valuables are now all MIA and hopefully not in the hands of some freak. At first I was a bit more optimistic about this incident and thought perhaps I set my bag on the ground and forgot it while I adjusted my child's stroller on the walk home from the eastside farmers market, so I traced my steps back and forth for half a day and found nothing in all of the spots I could of misplaced it. Next, I called my cell phone throughout the next day hoping the kind soul who found my backpack lying in a bush or so would answer the phone. No one has so far picked up my call. No one has called my phone full of friends to let them know or at least I haven't heard any news thus far. and no one has drop my bag ( with my address it contains) on my porch, at the cop shop, or any businesses located on the last known route of the backpack... ...So, basically I feel super violated, but these this happen in life, unfortunately, so to sum up this post: I have no phone as of now (again!), message me on FB for now until further info or feel free to call the shit out of my phone and inquire if there is an answer. I will start changing locks and buying back keys. IMPORTANT: if anyone sees any photos of me or my family pop-p in unexpected places PLEASE inquire to see if it is a freaks doing or my own. I generally only have my dance photos up on my FB pages and rarely post family photos. my website or google are the only online places I post my photos as well. Thank you kindly for reading this Looonng boring post and thank you for staying vigilant for a Mama when my hands are full. Much LOVE!
